zenbody in an independently owned business, and like you, we care about making informed and conscious decisions. We strive for an ethical and meaningful existence in the fashion world.
Our prints are bespoke pieces of art, designed and hand-illustrated by a local Australian textile artist. We only produce in limited quantities to prevent wastage from excess stock, and our garments are ethically made overseas. We've flown abroad to meet our makers, and they proudly follow the BSCI Code of Conduct. Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is a platform dedicated to social compliance, ensuring fair wages and safe working conditions.
In terms of environmental sustainability, we use a printing method called dye-sublimation, which produces zero waste so that no dye gets into the water system. It's an eco-friendly alternative to screen printing which creates pollution from washing, steaming and setting. However, there is room to grow and we're exploring the use of recycled materials for our future collections.
